McDonald’s: New Buttermilk Crispy Tenders and Szechuan Sauce is a Scam

As McDonald’s rolls out their new Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, many customers of the fast food chain line up to try the long-awaited Szechuan Sauce after being discontinued  some 20 years ago after a promotion for Disney’s original animated film Mulan.

Well the jig is up, McDonald’s! The new Buttermilk Crispy Tenders is a re-release of their old failed Chicken Selects, pictured below; discontinued in 2013.

What looks new here? Nothing. Just a new product to go along with their scam of a sauce. Participating locations were only given few limited numbers of the Szechuan Sauce, a novelty hyped up by the recent season premiere of Rick & Morty.

Locations were only given shipment packs of 22 sauces. If your location was lucky enough maybe they received two or three boxes, 44 and 66 sauces respectively. Rumors of employees pocketing some has surfaced as single packs are on ebay for $449!
